|
|
I need to replace some missing fairing clips to reduce rattles etc. on one of the SH300s in my stable.
The clip is Honda part no. 90666S84A01. It's used on the SH, Goldwing, Accord, Acura - it's pretty common.
David Silver sell them for £2.69 each, including VAT.
The yanks get them for $0.34: https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~clip~snap~fitting~90666-s84-a01.html
Why are they so expensive here? As far as I know, Honda sets the prices at the dealer level per country. But this seems extortionate, and an obvious arbitrage: buy lots in the US, sell them for twice the price over here, and you'd still be undercutting Honda dealers by more than 50%. Why isn't the free market doing its invisible hand trickery? ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4
