Noticed within the last couple of days, when I brake using the front brakes, I feel a lot of vibration in the handlebars, feels like the front wheel is gonna fall off! Is this likely to be the brake pads or disc? Or could it be something else?

Bike is a 1999 GSX-R600 by the way.

Assuming you haven't got ABS (Wink) then if you're feeling pulsing through the lever, it could be warped discs. See if you can get the front wheel of the ground, spin the wheel and see if the discs run "true". If it's vibration through the bars, it could be numerous things; wheel, tyres, tyres pressures, forks...

Didn't those SRAD Gixers (especially the 750) have a reputation for the disks warping?

Anyway, thats the first thing i'd think of, given the situation.

I think I saw some new disks on Ebay not long ago. Make sure you find out first though. Check pads/capliers as well. Make sure nothing funny is going on.

You might hear a clicking sound when braking if your headstock's loose. Check that your wheel (rim) is balanced too.
