Washing your meat

This is one of those things that is valid for restaurants or industrial kitchens but not really relevant to domestic kitchens in terms of bacteria, as you do not have a huge amount of food/knives/chopping boards lying around as to be of concern.

Never mind the time factor, as in a restaurant you may start preparing some food at 9 am, that is going to be served till 11pm. So if you splash water containing bacteria and you do not have a safe approach, those late dinners are going to get tummy issues.
