About the witnesses, yeah Londoners are c**ts.

I had to brilliant witnesses when I had my off a couple of years ago, gave me all their details, made notes at the scene of what happened. Checked I was ok helped move and secure my bike.

Shame the insurance could not be arsed to even speak to them in the process dragging things out as much as possible....

But yeah most Londoners are c**ts

yup, your 3rd party insurance is there purely to cover if the circumstance was reversed, if you went into the back of the taxi it would cover repairs to the taxi but not you.

it would have been better to gather up the information you had and gone to the police to report for leaving the scene of an accident hoping they'd go for due care and attention etc

once you've got this, find out the chap's insurance and contact them, if not insured then MIB

Well it's an accident you'll have to declare now, hopefully you'll get something out of this.

Upload your video, keep it private, contact his insurer directly, start your claim against him.

I honestly don't know why we even bother.

I've never had occasion to use the above after an accident, but just had a shufti at it and noticed that you have to enter your own reg number as well the 3rd party's.
Erm.... doesn't that mean you're probably flagging up to your own insurer that at least Something Has Happened? I suppose you could pick a random reg number off another vehicle...

It's there and it should be pretty comprehensive, will see what the insurers/police think. He actually apologised first before going on his excuse spree. He gassed it when I tried asking his passenger if they saw lol

Boo, you can't put in the other vehicle's VRM for both vehicles. Sad

Just put in FazerTard's VRM, that's what I used to test the above.

Problem is more to do with the CPS they've only got time to fuck up a limited number of winnable cases.

Can understand why your pissed off but sounds like its not worth pursuing. Crappy situation but even if he admitted faults your insurance premiums will still probably increase more then damage caused.

Yep, that's the right answer. Just continue to let cunts be cunts without even trying to get some sort of justice.

If we give up trying to keep society civil, what is even the point anymore?

Actually, what IS even the point anymore?

We have Police and the CPS for that, regardless of how unfit for purpose they are. Anything else is vigilantism and is
likely to land the viligante in trouble because of the two, they are the easy nick.

Reporting an incident to an insurance company and to the police is hardly vigilantism. Your idea of a superhero must be pretty lame Laughing

If you're riding with legit plates.

London is teetering on the brink of consequence-free lawlessness. If I had to live or work there (allah forbid) I'd give serious consideration to #BakLayfing it.

Superheroes aren't real. That's just the movies. Reporting any theft to the Police or anything that isn't classified a racially
motivated 'hate crime' will barely raise an eyebrow these days. Reporting anything to your insurance company regardless
of fault is plain daft. Doing so will inevitably end up costing you more money and reducing your options come renewal
time. And this justice you speak of is just a myth. Nobody gets the sentencing they deserve, and they are out in half
the time they are supposed to be inside, assuming of course they get put away in the first place.

Thanks. bottom line is the police wont do anything and insurance company will hike your premium regardless.

So if you do not mind being financially out of pocket in the name of justice go for it.
