I also hate how BMW put unreasonably large headlights on their touring bikes. It just looks off.

Me either, I thought the whole point was that she has to hold onto you, and is therefore more receptive to touching you in other situations Whistle

It does, as demonstrated by Richard Weinstein Hammond: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNTSkXC0L6E You really should double rainpal though Folded arms

BMW generally is just weird when it comes to the headlights. But often it's the kind of weird that goes full-circle by being so weird that it's cool.

I especialy like the R1200 which looks as if it's making a quizzical face at the road.

This thread has some of my favourite looking bikes. Particularly the DN-01, which looks comfortable, and the Multistrada, which looks capable of many things.

I quite like the F650CS. I'm surprised nobody has posted things like the Morbidelli V8, or any 'Americanised' UJMs such as the Kawasaki 450 LTD:

https://motoprofi.com/imgs/a/a/b/z/l/kawasaki_z_450_ltd_1987_2_lgw.jpg

Morbidelli V8:

https://www.visordown.com/sites/default/files/news-images/morbidelli-v8.jpg

Any American market 'soft cruiser' from the 1980s is a thousand times worse than the nicely in proportion 650CS. So the headlights look a bit shocked... meh so does the Street Triple. I still think the Street Triple it's a good looking bike. The CS is maybe not good looking as such, but it's not ugly like the Kawasaki above.

I also think the Hayabusa is ugly as sin. Surprised no one mentioned that too.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Ugly the headlights might look, they are very functional. Look at the huge lamps on the 919RR. My mate has one and at night it's like having a car headlights, so much light on the road, exemplary. My GPz was crap, the CB-1 was alright I guess and the ZX7R headlight was a joke, compared to the 919RR with two cheap H4 bulbs.

Despite me owning one, I don't particularly find the poverty spec VTR1000 very easy on the eyes. And perhaps an unpopular opinion; I don't really like the looks of the TL1000S either.
Wouldn't put me off owning one though.

Bloody hell, those DN-01's aren't cheap on ebay. I thought I might buy one and have as a toy to keep my Trophy nice.

Classified 4 grand upwards. Shocked

What did they cost new?
