If it's a Glass/Metal reflector and lens, it'll be fine. If it's a plastic reflector or lens (been crashed and done up on the cheap), it won't.

If you do upgrade, Osram Nightbreaker's work well.

the alternator will not supply enough voltage or current all the time .. this will cause a 55w bulb to burn out as the wont get up to temperature... but headlight bulbs in 125 tend not to last anyway.... i would replace the whole unit.. find some thing on the internet. .. but keep the original .. and carry a spare bulb.. they are cheap enough.. your gonna need it.. Thumbs Up

The one in my .sig, and let's say yes, unless the correct answer is no.

2011 YBR 125. Zero issues with aforementioned nightbreaker in the original glass/metal housing.

Melty reflector with the same bulb in a cheap replacement headlamp after it got stolen/recovered.
