Hello all. I've a 97 blade. Brought as a non runner, while putting new carbs on,I found an extra breather pipe. It's the same size as fuel pipe 12mm+. It goes down to beside where the chain and other breathers go. But have no idea what or where it plugs onto. Have searched around, but can't find it's home.
Any help would be much appreciated

Not sure if I've replied on the right part.
It's definitely a breather, not vacuum line.

Not that one either.i have all the tank pipes sorted,it looks like an engine breather, just she was in a state when I got her, everything was loose or disconnected. The reach it has would be ideal for the tank, but like I say,got them all on and sorted

Engine breather comes off the cam box cover and into the R/H side of the airbox. The two off the tank you seem to have sorted, only other one I can recall is the radiator header tank bottle, between the rear frame rails.

Isn't there a drain pipe on the tank to expel water from around the fuel filler, I'm sure there is a breather pipe connection on the engine block under the carbs, i may be wrong though, it's been a while.

That made sense to me when I found it,but took carbs back off earlier and couldn't find anywhere for it. Now I'm thinking maybe it's surplus to requirement and may have been left where it is out of laziness , maybe the one where it's supposed to go,has been replaced and rerouted. It has me totally stumped otherwise
