Hi, I'm currently re-building a 1981 Suzuki GS 550 E and need to replace the exhaust. Can i fit to the bike an after market exhaust made for a GS 850?

Ok thanks.
how much taller?
Is the diameter of the pipes the same?
Is there some other GS exhaust that i can use? 550 exhausts are very hard to find and expensive

Jama should do them, IIRC. The pipes are different enough to really make the work required to fit them not worth your time.
