Really? Sad

In my experience most seals fail due to a rocking back and forth motion of the fork leg. If the seals go it generally means the bush has as well.
I have always told people on here to do the bushes when they do the seals and other than Bonny having the seal put in upside down by an 'experienced' mechanic no one who has done both has had an instant failure or a failure at all as far as I know.]

No idea, long enough to do fork damper bolts is the best I can say.

Well, did one fork seal this evening. Pig of a job.

There wasn't a great deal of room for a screw, and it thought it best to dismantle.

Probably shouldn't have tried to do it in a public car park, but didn't really have anywhere else to do it.

Things didn't go great, and was all rushed back together.

I had to remove part of the exhaust from my car to knock the new seal in.

I'll inspect it all tomorrow, but I think it'll have to come apart again.
