Hello everyone !

I am a proud owner of a beautiful Honda CB500F 2017 model.
Last night unfortunately I had my first accident at night as I was riding in Kent, I drove into a kerb .. Rolling Eyes

Apart from cosmetic damage, nothing serious happened, bike is in a riding condition apart from one big issue..

Front rim has been bent and cracked.

I contacted one garage and they stated that this kind of repair is not safe and I would need to change the wheel. I've been looking all day for the replacement in a reasonable price (OEM rim I found was around £425)

My question is if I can get the wheel from another brand if the size matches and where should I look for them.

I've spend all day on ebay and other websites with no results.

A repair is out of the question, as for buying a wheel, you only have one option and that's a new honda wheel... if you find one on ebay it's probably "stolen"

You've been a very lucky chap if there's nothing else affected, given the force needed to do that to the wheel.
I know the shock will have soaked up most of the impact but I'd still be triple checking.

Will a wheel from an older model not fit?

A wheel from 2013-17 will fit, they do come up on ebay.

I keep on searching for anything between 13-17 and I can't find either I new one for a decent price or an used one in decent condition.

Any specific websites I should be looking at?

Whenever I asked, everyone told me that fixing it is out of the question as there's too much risk. I may have to fork out £425 for the new one Crying or Very sad

It's got a ding in the wheel I saw it without even reading the text. I've had an MOT fail for a ding like that.

The other option is of course a complete front end change.

The major difficulty I see with that is the brake rotor attachment points.
