Aye, I think Hellkat may have a point.

I had similar rants at couchsurfers before as I make such a point of being a good guest, and often they really don't. Like HK says though, that's more a statement about us than them.

As for the inviter of the guest, he has been taking phone calls in his room late, and when I mistook that for him talking to the guest he said cousin wasn't here yet (coming next week). Which allowed a "ok, but if I can hear you on the phone that clearly through the walls, a month long slumber party is not going to work... "

Another promise of no problem Mr Fawlty. Still no reply from the landlord, because Germany and no body replies to anything ever (genuinely, they are woefully inefficient... who knew!?)

Well, he is now sulking about something. There is a girl involved (he fancies her, she may fancy me/be winding him up about it... meh), so has been banging around at night and generally being surly.

Well, surprise fucker, my care package from England has arrived, and guess what I forgot I had included in it.

A fucking Bongo. Cool Cool Cool

To be fair, I've had worse day to day living situations, and I am quite direct these days about things that bug me, and happier to manipulate situations so they suit me.
And I have had infinitely more toxic situations where I was under intense scrutiny and tougher standards.

I'm sure it will be fine.

Cool Cool

Worst case, you can accuse them of bad-touching your knees.

It's credible, you've a very pretty man.

And a naked chest, don't forget the chest.
I've never looked at your bum, ever.

I have to ask, what the hell is a naked chest?

I mean, assuming I'm not actually naked at the time. Thinking

You can be semi-clad, I don't mind.

Anyway, I do like you for you.

I'm a bit worried about your matching posing pouch, Roger.

Update:

So, cousin squatter never came. Thank Jebus.

House has developed a shitty vibe because one guy has an anxiety about cleaning (ie a bit obsessed with it), and is used to living in a house cleaned by his housewife... who he left in his home country for two years, with two young kids. Winner!

The gem of the one hour! house meeting was that "Come on guys, we study here, but the priority is obviously keeping this kitchen clean...

He also sulked because I said "You are used to having wives and living in family homes, and we are 6 dudes living in a squat with no visitors cleaning it once a week... "...

Not the content, but because I mentioned his wife/family, and he absolutely will not tolerate that.

Fuck wits. Fuck wits everywhere.

Why can't I live with Germans Confused

Have you tried claiming to be a 15 year old Syrian?

I saw a documentary on a family moving to Germany and adopting their customs etc. Apparently the average German housewife cleans for 4 hours (or something like that) a week.
It would make more sense to find him a German family that needs a lodger.
