It's all theft to a degree. The actual "charitable donation", even if the charity is genuine is often peanuts and around 1-2% of profit.
I get 4 or 5 a week poked through the door, many are not genuine charities, or a scam charities registered by the clothing collection firm.
The local council couldn't care less if you report the bogus collectors, even though they are supposed to enforce the licencing.
A common scammer is a charity registered in a very similar name to Cancer Research UK, except this charity is a one man band which the claimed to give about £10K of their £500K profit to a University to "research cancer". The charity just happens to be registered in the same village as the dodgy clothing collection firm who collect for them. The names behind the firm are Romanians, one of whom was in the local press in Wales for slavery. The leaflet droppers were slaves from Eastern Europe.
This firm still operates. I mentioned the whole story with links on here a few years go. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Huh, I wondered where the local ones had gone.
That's low, even by "charity" scammer standards. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Because the ultimate aim of the establishment anti-progressive forces is to take us back to that era. Ive said it before, the Tories have always resented the modern world and their entire reason for existence is to take the country back to a state where s tiny elite own almost everything, a servile technical and administrative class look after all the boring work and then the larger majority of people exist just to serve as slaves/serfs etc.
You just have to see where you fit in.
We could do better though. Of course if you try and suggest that then you're obviously an anti-semite. |
They're making a right feck up of raising the tax threshold then as most lower end workers now pay less tax that they take from the state, putting more strain on those who do pay tax.
In Victorian times, there was no dole scum, you had to work for your dry crust. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
