Hi, I'm a professional photographer looking for bike collections to photograph. It's a pet project I've been working on for a couple of years. So far I've photographed over 50 bikes at both private collectors houses and museums over the UK. You can check out the work so far at https://paulcliftonphotography.com/classic-bikes/

The way I work is I bring the lights to your bikes, shoot them, work them up in photoshop and send you the final shots for you to keep - for free, as a thank you for your time.

My mobile is 07976 746588 and my email is paul@kotodesigns.co.uk, I'm based in Surrey but if the collection is big enough I'll travel wherever.

Drop me a line if you're interested.

Paul

You’ve posted the exact same number of posts in this thread as he has. 😂

Oh, we also do a good line in sardonic Scotchmen. However, I believe someone has a back yard full of the rusting remains of about a dozen Superdreams, if that's of interest.

The OP has posted in a number of areas on this forum. Once would have been enough.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

He was new, he was naive, he needed the money.

Not to mention the American garage queens! Now that the gritters have been out, you're pretty unlikely to see one outside in the natural light Laughing Laughing Besides it's a bit cold for their riders to wear those ass chaps !! Shocked Shocked

Hi

Hi!!

Are you interested in taking photos of Rainpal® which is the single most important and greatest improvement in safety for motorcyclists in hundreds of years?

You can bring your lights and Suzie the air hostess will get naked with me whilst you're taking photos of all the Rainpal® prototypes including the optional squirt'n'wipe spray.

You'll become world famous as your photos will be documenting a new era of wiper safety . As a thank you for your time, you'll get to keep the final shots for free.

Working with the Rainpal® riders will be very rewarding for you as you'll be helping to save thousands of lives. Driving a motorcycle in some places is so dangerous by the time you have read from the start of this sentence to here two motorcyclists have died.

Where do you wanna meet?

How many bikes do you need before you've got a collection?

If you ask my wife, the answer is any number higher than 1.

There were never more than 7 & two-thirds..

One fully renovated and in service for five years; two more renovated and sold; there remains just three and a lot of bits! Of which only one is even remotely resembling 'rusting', the other two bare frames and a large pile of parts; mostly cleaned and painted and waiting the impetus to actually bolt back together, if I ever find any... the project 'stalled', repeatedly to allow full resto of a little Yammie, a major mechanical of a Bludi-Guzzi, and a full tear down of a 750-Four, and currently impeded by deliberations over what I should do with the Montesa.... do I 'restore'.. in which case to what standard? It hasn't been show-room since about a week after it was wheeled out the shop in 1981... so do I even try take it back to catalogue.... that would at the very least beg a replacement swing arm, and un-cut seat/tank.. Or do I renovate to its 'clubman' mildly modded spec? OR do I do a contemporary classic comper, with a reed-block conversion, mikuni-carb and burbage sparks.. and/or go 350 big-banger barrel, whilst I am at it... and do I set it up as a pure observed-section-trial mount, or a long-trial tool, come green-laner? Choices-Choices-Choices....

But, I probably have more cameras than bikes... err... hold on; one, two, three, four five, six, I can see from where I'm sat; wait, no; there's an action cam hiding behind the coffee cup.... do we count the one in the multi-function, communications and under-chin lighting device next to it? Oh! Hold up, the Ziess 120 roll-film folder is lurking besides the PC, and I think that may be an OM10 poking out from behind the Ibruprofen packet on top of the record-player! There's probably more if I moved some paper-work.... I know the minox 'James-Bond' spy camera is under there some-where. The Sigma Mk1 is on the shelf on the other side of the room, out of sight, as is the electric-picture-maker, and I cant remember how many are in the box on top of the wardrobe, or lurking on other shelves about the house.... I think the Konika and the Franken-Digi-Camera are probably just out of site behind that OM on the record-player actually..... err... yeah... I think that I almost certainly have more cameras then motorbikes!

But... I almost certainly don't need any more photo's!!!!!
(I expect 'some-one' we all know and love, will save this quote for posterity, to use against me when I next reach for a camera... at least I have got her out of the habit of pressing every button trying to eject the SD card, of my FILM camera, to thwart me snapping!!!!)

I still have around 7ooo negatives in the binders and gawd knows how many more in carrier bags and shoe boxes, that probably haven't seen the light of day-light balanced light-box, scanner tube or enlarger bulb in twenty years or more, that probably aught to get scanned at some point!!!!!

If photo's of my old relics were required, some-one with a different camera, probably wouldn't!!!
