if you see a bike dumped/hidden or just being ridden you think may be stolen, put the reg into FB's search and if the owner has posted about the theft it will find them and you can drop them a message, quicker than plod anyway

I know it has to still have the reg on but I did this yesterday and it turned out the little feckers were still riding round on a tiger 1050 a week after stealing it with the proper reg plate on!
