Oh, it is that time again? I guess it has been 5 years since the last one was laughed off.

Why do you think this one will be taken any more seriously?

Merging the theory tests would make more sense. There's little need for one for both a bike and car theory test as it stands.

What about Rainpal?

Can we have a petition for it?

Maybe it would go away for a while then.

I think riders and drivers could both benefit from some shared questions. Perhaps things like "Why does a car stop faster than a motorcycle" culd be thought-provokingly useful.

When I was sorting the dreaded 'B' licence in the summer, by instructor, and ex-rider was convinced motorcycles stopped faster than cars. Of course the twat had never had to find out how quickly his pre-abs bikes stopped and considered doing so a bit risky. I pointed him at some informative youtubes. It's quite scary how fast a car with brake assist stops if you stand on the anchors. And it's not like it's new tech, my 2004 pov-spec Polo appears to have it.

As someone who took a car theory test last year, I'm sure one of the hazard perception clips either in practice or the test was of a motorbike pulling out of a side street. Ergo, motorcycle awareness is part of the test as far as DVLA are concerned.
