When you lift the throttle, you're also lifting the slide letting more air in. It could be too rich at the bottom end, not too lean.
OK my experience is mainly 2T, but just removing the inner trumpet of the standard airbox pushed mains from 230 to 320 but pilot from only 25 to 27.5.
I'd try a smaller pilot and raise the throttle slide a bit, by the cable adjuster if it has one of throttle stop screw. |
oh ok, didn't realise!
I followed a guide that suggested with the new filter and exhaust
increasing main by 5 and pilot by 2.5, now after looking for the new pilot size it went up in sizes of 5s e.g.. 35, 40, 45, 50.
you think it would be worth going back down to the 35 pilot jet?
Not sure it has a throttle slide adjuster, I'll have a look tonight though!
