It's the 2018 NAMM show. National Association of Music Merchants; Where they release loads of stuff.

For the past few years it's all about the analog synthesisers with manufactures remaking old classics that were out of the average person's price range. Software has come on in leaps and bounds too.

A Smörgåsbord of traditional instruments with stringed instruments being better quality at lower cost.

Audio interfaces and mixing desks with pre-amps that would cost the price of a family car are now available for a couple of hundred quid.

Nothing as of yet but a synthi VCS3 is on my want list.

I was recently considering an attempt at making Bakewell somethings ... Thinking

Now that I seem to have found more Get-Up-and-Go* again, I might give it a try whilst I still have the energy.

Confused How will proper cycling shoes help you to stop buying things?

This is Luton, I'll just try and catch up with someone who looks like he wears an 11.

Plus, have you ever tried to shop while riding a bicycle?

Need to book Spacker (oil change), van (rear discs and pads, new glow plugs, and a oil and filter change) and the
Swift(full service) in for work. Then van needs MOTing. Swift could also do with new boots all round and the wheels
refurbing as my wife is doing her best to lighten the alloys by grinding some off of the nearside ones every time she
has to park it next to a kerb. The first owner had the wheels refurbed so that they were a dark metallic grey which suits
the car well, BUT he spent about 20 quid doing it and if you look not all that closely you can see runs in the paint and
you can also see he did outside only. Wouldn't be surprised if he had them done while still on the car. Thumbs Down Anyway, there's
a refurb place in Bristol that I owe a favour to from sometime ago. I doubt they will remember me, but I remember
them being very decent people to deal with and I assured them of my future custom when it turned out that they couldn't
help me solve my issue last time. They had already done chargeable work by this point but wouldn't take a penny as they
couldn't finish the job. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up I'll have the full mack daddy d'elegance high roller service by way of saying thanks
for last time , their work is exceptional.

A 4K HDR tv and a 4K xbox and ps for it.

I’m one of those weird people that won’t buy something unless it’s predecessor dies.

I’d love a new setup, I can afford a new setup, but I can’t until the old one stops working.

Queue I had my last car 15 years, fridge 20 years, it only got replaced when I had to go to Germany with work for a week. Wife was fed up with it.

Same. My TV is nearly 10 years old, but with a HD freeview box, and Fire TV stick it does everything I need.

I'd like a PS4 Pro but my wheel isn't compatible with it and I have too much 'invested' on the Xbox, but the dream setup would be a 4k TV + Pro, then a gaming PC + 4K monitor for the MS titles (Forza, Halo etc..).

Component prices probably mean I won't upgrade my 6 year old system (that wasn't even cutting edge back then) anytime soon Sad

There are exceptions. I watched a woman park a large estate into the tightest space imaginable. But then I've also watched a woman reverse up a hill with clutch smoke billowing out.

I have decided I'm going to be one of those hoarder types. I want PS2 stuff. and probably PSone stuff too. So I want all the PS2 games I remember from my teenage years to likely be disappointed. But I want dat retro feel again.

Likely to spunk £90 on the Shenmue games for the Dreamcast too. Don't know when I'd get the time to invest into these again but I needs 'um Gollum.
