Hi, I've ridden 16500 miles on the CBF 125 with no issues.

Noticed today the smaller light below the full beam that is on continuously is dull. It used to brighten as engine revved but no longer. Has it simply reached the end of its life and needs replacing?

I have heard other say the alternator connections might need cleaning. I have bough a replacement bulb but ddidn't want the hassle of taking the front apart to change it if it sounds like the bulbs not the issue?

Many thanks for your help.

Have you put a meter across the battery, both with the engine off and running?
