Can't be named, can't be pictured.
And if name gets out, will get a new identity at massive expense to the tax payer. How much did John Venables and Robert Thompson cost? lots I bet

I don't get it, he reoffended as an adult, why does he still deserve anonymity?

Doesn't make any difference, does it - if his current ID ties him to 'Venables' he's always going to be at massive risk of harm and The System is obliged to protect him, innit?

That's what I'm questioning. A kid, despite performing an abhorrent act, might deserve a chance at a future/new identity. As he's reoffending as an adult, they wouldn't hide the identify of a regular paedo, so why does he get special treatment.

He has blown his chance, if he gets lynched it's his fault, and I doubt anyone would care.

Hardly a 'regular paedo' though, is he?

I thought that was part of the debate, whether or not there was a (future) paedo element to the killing. The fact he keeps getting caught with child porn suggests there was. So the whole child confused by horror movies BS goes out the window, and so should any efforts to protect his identity IMO.

It was only a couple of years back when a few lads from Morley died in a car crash. The car was driven by a tit in his 20s IIRC. The 2 kids were 14 or so too.

Something similar happened to my dad, late 2010 I think, he was retrieving my mum from the local pub when a fiesta came barrelling over a junction and slid straight into the side of him. Jumped out, grabbed the driver (logical response, apparently) and narrowly avoided the passenger giving him a friendly poke in the kidneys with a
screwdriver.
Police picked them up later on in a different stolen car.

Leeds is lovely, innit.

A bunch of scrotes nick car and drive it into tree, driver survives, passengers all killed. I'd say he needs a commendation for the saving the tax payer a shit ton of money in the future, as well as other car owners and insurance companies a pile of future grief and paperwork. Upon release I recommend a scheme is started to harness his skills to recruit further passengers and drive appropriately in tree populated areas. We are missing out on an opportunity to employ youth resources.

Other areas should consider similar schemes to enjoy the full benefits of similarly talented local scrotes. Thumbs Up

It could have been worse, they could have been quadrospazzed rather than killed and then we'd be paying for them to have their arses wiped for the rest of their pittiful lives.

I blame the manufacturer.

Renault should have been aware you can fit 6 in a Clio and should have supplied enough seat belts.

Poor little mites would have been totally safe and secure. Then, in the future, as alluded to by Citizen Khan, they could potentially be valued members of our society.

Media seems to be under the impression that unnamed 15 year old suffers remorse "will be affected by it the rest of his life". If that was really the case I don't think he'd have run off afterwards.

So, you wouldn't expect a 15 year old to crap himself and go all fight or flight on account of just killing 5 of his friends?

What someone does in the immediate aftermath of that sort of situation isn't representative of their actions/feelings when they aren't actually crapping themself.

This is why we have a judiciary rather than allowing screaming mobs to dispence justice on the streets.

Yeah, they probably had no idea the car was stolen, the driver underage with no licence, or insurance, that the driver was going to drive it like he stole it and that a Clio doesn't legally seat 6.

If only someone had told them. Rolling Eyes

One of the sisters was on the radio earlier bawwwing that the sentence was too light and she'd never get her little brother back.

Shouldn't have got in the fucking car then, should he? Rolling Eyes
