I've been to all of them and they usually deal with piaggios. Colin Collins sell aprilia scoots and some of their used selection is worth looking at.

When my dad bought his NRG (later mine) from them in 2000, they were to be highly recommended, but over the years, they have deteriorated in customer service, but i would still advise you to go out and check. I used to know a few pedbois in that locality and the guy in the workshops have been helpful

Scooter planet in finchley central is the cheapest place to get scoot tyres in north london and are very friendly. Unfortunately, they are a piaggio only centre as with most of them. But give all of them a go!

EDIT = Sorry headlamp, forgot you mentioned scooterplanet. I got a very polite and swift service from the guys there when i had a puncture - new rear tyre. Nearest tube is finchley central northern line, get any bus heading to north finchley/tally ho (82, 143 usually)
