Yup - I bought a 4TB SSD a little while ago and not long after it was about £150 more than I'd paid. Looking today it's only £50 cheaper though so I guess my timing wasn't too bad!

Well the current price is now £1,200....

Shocked What would be the (practical) use of a SSD that size, editing large video files?

They make an amazing difference to load and startup times which is what makes your computer feel "slow". Main downside is the global SSD and RAM shortage. The price of DDR4 is shocking which I suspect is holding back otherwise good value processors like the Ryzen series.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
