But he was a cop rider. Shocked They are the epitome of riding brilliance.Tut Tut How could this have happened? Although looking
at the road where it happened it seems likely like myopic 91 year old may well have pulled out into his path, and he's
ploughed into driver door offing her as well.

That was the passenger, driver not 91 presumably.

I presume it was a police bike as he was on duty ?

Just proves it can happen to any of us !

Assume the unexpected and that every ( every ) car driver wants to kill you, even well defined and marked bright police bikes are not immune to idiot car drivers !!

What a waste.

From the passenger seat? Poor obs.

Doubtless the crème de menthe of riders, totally appropriate speed for the road conditions, riding exactly as he'll have ordered so many lesser riders to do, and so on.

Liveried cop bike, or stealthmobile, I wonder. Not that it would likely have made much difference as <nasal whine> if they don't look they won't see </nasal whine>, but I'm just awaiting the day when the Safety Elves call time on bike Dibble.

Given the rate at which they seem to stack themselves, the fun can't continue indefinitely, right?

Also rememberingmost.

Well, obviously BCF would be doing 150mph on the back wheel, and so would have been long gone before the car pulled out anyway.
As to mere mortals, I would advise taking the bus.

Nope, without a Rainpal® the windows fog up and they crash. 100% Science Fact.

There's definately, positively, a chance, perhaps of being abducted by Alans though.

Used to live not far from there, fairly swift road, often getting overtaken by BMW's and Audi's etc who thought I was going too slow (in the car)

When I used to ride in that neck of the woods, it used to ba a 50. I nearly got taken out by a car reversing out of a driveway in tha village, but I presume little incidents like that have no doubt lowered the limit through there.

That setup is a classic for right hand turn across oncoming traffic, would explain passenger side fatality.

The copper who stopped me said I'll likely chuck my bike down the road at some point "because the way I ride" (FYI I apparently accelerating "hard" in a 20 but he couldn't actually tell me what speed I was allegedly doing).

I'll save this article on my phone so next time a bored copper pulls me I'll say actually, according to this article, statistically, police officers have had at least one more fatal collision than I have and are therefore shittier riders.
