Raft building because the losers will die from hypothermia.

If you're trendy enough then you could go to one of those escape room zombie apocalypse places. Without the risk of death there wouldn't be the same incentive to win as there would be with raft building but the only people who'd object about that are the people who can't build a raft.

As much as I want to poo poo it, when I was a shipping supervisor we had an American boss who was well into these games.

We used to have at least one every couple of months but the best were weekends away in 5 star hotels playing games and getting pissed in the evenings.

It worked to a certain extent. You got to know peoples likes, dislike, fears and how to manipulate them to your, sorry the teams, best advantage.

We did all the usual, paintball, driving, adventure courses etc.

I also got to play bedtime games with his secretary on one such weekend so that was a bit of team bonding at its best. Thumbs Up

Battle Royale.

...I've always found going out and getting wankered helped more with team 'bonding'.

Dress up in each other’s clothes for the day, ?

Drop the team off at point A and they need to get to point B without using money.

Something illegal.

Nothing brings people more together than a collectively held secret about something horrible/illegal.

I'd say a 2day March through very difficult and challenging terrain over Dartmoor army style while trying to evade capture by a reconn team. Wait until it's about -5deg and don't give people anything except basic equipment, but make sure their pack weighs 40kg+ and they might as well have to carry a rifle for effect.

The weak bitch moaning fairies will all give up and perish by the first night. And anyone that makes it off the Moor alive, you'll know from then on they are a hard bastard and not to argue with them in meetings or fuck around/ play pranks on them in future.

That's not team building though, is it? In team building, the hard bastards would help the weaker folks to get through it Wink

All of your "team" get a common performance review and identical pay rise, you say?

Last one I did...

Wait... I didn't because I didn't go. Fuck team building. I'm there to work, not make friends. Disciplinary? Where does it say going on a steamboat trip 40 miles from home with people I already see more of than my wife is part of my job description? Nowhere, that's where.

The way to make me work more effectively is to announce the person bringing in most money each month gets Monday off.
