More imo, it was harder to separate the peaks and then too thick if you did.

For years I genuinely didn't eat Yorkies, cos it isn't for girls. I think I had one once, years ago, and was fairly underwhelmed anyway, and figured I might as well leave them for the chaps. After all there were Wispas and white chocolate Luxury Flakes still to be eaten, Kitkat breaks to be had, etc.

Not that I believed the advertising, but I was feeling generous toward menfolk, and I thought, "Yeah. Guys should have their own chocolate bar. Women get away with all that flaky goodness and poor old men, they have nothing to call their own"

(That old Crunchie ad is a bit macho with all that exploding rocks of honeycomb and going-in of tunnels amongst other stuff ... but not enough to claim chromosomal territorial rights)

The number 1 chaperone buys Yorkies when he's on the road in the van, he naturally bought me one when he was on a cup-o-tea run, and was quite surprised when I actually said out loud, "But I don't eat Yorkies ... those are not for girls! Plus those are biscuit and raisin ones, and I am not a fan of raisins."

I think he might have said something like "Well, that's all there is."

So I swiftly changed my mind Laughing

I think they're quite funny.
Especially the handjob one.

Someone had to decide the made up sexual exploits of severely disabled people was a good way to promote their chocolate. That's what I mean by baffling.

I guess it makes slightly more sense than all the fragrance adverts you get at this time of year, something you typically buy by the smell Thinking

I bought the twin peaks bar yesterday. 180g of cheap nastiness. 3 hours after consuming the lot I had the squits, never ever happened with a genuine toblerone.
