Anyone got experience of using the Po-Do-Fo library? Particularly in a MinGW GCC project.

PDF writers you say? I have never used one, always did all my work in libreoffice or MS word (the same result) and then convert it into the PDF format.

It's been a while since I've used a converter, but I never had to pay for any, all legit copies.

I mean as in a library I can statically link into a c++ project to generate a pdf document from scratch.
I've used the PDFWriter library in the past with Visual C++ but getting it to build with MinGW GCC is proving to be a nightmare.

I use pdfill to print anything to pdf. If it's an office document I use File - save as but pdfill works for everything else.

Out of curiosity, I checked out https://github.com/galkahana/PDF-Writer.git ran `cmake . && make` and it appeared to build locally fine using Cygwin gcc.

I'd try with msys2 to get a MinGW build together. I don't use msys2 and amn't about to install it to try.

I'll take a look at that, I was using a version I downloaded years ago from elsewhere.
