No link because I know this forum is anti daily mail.

Just been reading that from Jan13 you will no longer be able to pay
your self assessment tax bill with a CREDIT CARD.. Not that I expect
anyone does but I thought I would let you know.

I've checked my last letter from HMRC and no mention of the changes
but I've just checked the website which confirms the article.

This is also the first return which one man band limited companies are being bent over and anally raped by Hammond and chums. Dividends are now taxed twice, once as corporation tax, then secondly as personal tax.

As an average earner, I'll be a fair few hundred quid worse off this year. Next year, I'll be paying around an increase of 25% more tax. You can't win. If you go PAYE, you still pay tax twice as you pay as both an employer and an employee.

I can remember the media venting about the NI changes making self employed people £80 a year worse off, yet the thousands they're robbing from Ltd co directors never gets a sniff of media attention.

I thought the Tories were the party for working people? Laughing
