Yamaha mbike model

There is a bike at work which is often parked next to mine and I am curious as to what model it is
It is a Yamaha 500cc plus at a guess it has no fairing or screen
03 reg
The rear brake calliper is underneath the disc not on top as mine is
Front calliper is on top of disc
Anyone any ideas

I don't know that much about bikes which is why info is vague
Could tell you the colour shaggy DA which may help you rule out a few more it also has lights and stuff for a few more clues😄😄👍
The reason I am curious is in my limited knowledge putting the brake calliper and pads as near to the rear tyre road spray area and at risk from standing water plus run off from bike when standing is a bit of a mad idea.

Only 2003 era naked Yamaha I can see with that set up, unless its a crashed/just plain shit FZS.

A few Yamaha’s gave that setup. It’s not ideal, but they use it Nevertheless.
