Anyone be up for a day out at Thorpe Park sometime in October?

Tickets are around £22 (though we get it down for big groups) and the park is in Surrey, just off the M25.

Sounds good to me - drops to £18.50 if we can get a group of 12 or more.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Although it's close, it's not really my thing. Those rides scare me.

Legoland's more of a family thing Dusty, but the shopping is great Very Happy

Not tried it since it became Legoland, however I did work at the place when it was the safari park for a summer. Seemed the most sensible way to get free falconry lessons Wink
I'd probably be up for trying it though, never actually played with lego but the stuff holds a wierd fascination for me. Sadly the other half won't let me buy any of the lego technic kits though Sad

I want a sportscar!

Poof

Why won't she let you?

Lego is great fun, if you like that sort of thing, but it can get to be expensive.

Good way to while away those rainy days too.

Mainly because I have this thing called a mortgage to pay at the moment. Can be fun juggling when income is rather less than outgoings. Between the furry behemoth that pretends to be a cat, and a somewhat dilapidated bike all of my 'spare' cash is accounted for Crying or Very sad

As far as it being great fun goes, I wouldn't know. Hence wanting to try it Razz

Hi
Please dont go to legoland, we would be a laughing stock, its for people under 10 years old, the only people who go there who dont have kids and are over 12 are peodophiles.

Thorpe park all the way \o/.

I'd suggest a double-header, so that if people want to travel then it's more worthwhile. Plus there's the Calcot Rock Festival to consider...

Thorpe, night out, Legoland with a hangover?
