Any thoughts?

Got a new set of front brake calipers in my sights. Don't really want Brembos as every dog and their dick has one, and I don't believe they're as good as the hype. Currently looking at Beringer. Any other thoughts? (AP Racing and ISR are a little Meh)

(Would love a set of Nissins, but they're about 6k the pair and that's if you can find them!),

Not much information in post?

What bike are they for?

Is it a road or track bike?

What are you looking for in aftermarket calipers, less weight? Better braking performance? More bling factor? Less maintenance? Cheapest?

Are you looking for a bolt on solution? Or are you prepared to do work to make them fit? There's a whole load of factors to consider with making different calipers fit, from how you design and make adapter brackets, to leverage ratios, and piston sizes/fluid capacity.

Are you looking for something with a wider range of pads than your std calipers, and do you want a popular proven solution or conversion that's used often on your bike to make things easier?

There's no universal best caliper brand or type, and IMO brakes are something too important to be messing about changing parts just because you want something different or for aesthetic reasons only.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
