Crikey, fella.
^^ What they said ^^
Definitely!! Shocked Shocked

I will admit to having (rare) moments like that in the past, where things get flung by my fair hand.

But, Bubbs dear, and this is the important bit: mine were definitely tantrums and were usually preceded by someone being EXTREMELY ANNOYING beforehand.

So these 'gltches' had them as far back as you can remember?

Happen when under duress?
Happen during or after alcohol or recreational drugs?
After blows to the head?

Do not operate heavy machinery etc.

^^^Your quack should be asking you those.

Best of Red Dragon luck to you Bubbs and maybe it's just a tic similar to Tourettes.

I suffer from anxiety and have done for years, I just put it down to a symptom of that.

It's odd, it's like I have an electric shock inside my brain and I get an odd twitch to release the energy... difficult to explain. I assumed everyone had the same thing to be honest as I know people who have odd twitches now and again but mine are a bit more throwy.

I do have them when I'm not holding anything so it's not related to that I don't think.

I don't drink and have not done any drugs since BCF BBQ 2016 so that's not the cause. I do suffer blurred vision, feels like my eyes get tired of focussing but assumed it was related to anxiety issues.

I'd say I started noticing it after hammering the drugs when I was a bit younger. It's definitely more pronounced on a comedown. It could well be related to a blow to the head, I'm not entirely sure... I've had quite a few blows to the head in my life.

Started thread for confirmation that this was normal. I'll pop in and see the Dr to see what they say. Hopefully they prescribe medical marijuana.

Don't play darts. Not when I'm around, anyway.

Thinking

You were using a shotgun at the BCF BBQs you hosted? Shocked
You're planning on riding a motorcycle? Shocked

Hmmm, yes, think I'd get it seen to.

Or write a sitcom Very Happy

I occasionally get twitches in my fingers - the most that ever comes of it is that I accidentally click a mouse button when I didn't mean to. Happens about once a day. Lasts about a fifth of a second - it's over before I could even think about stopping. Nothing bad has ever happened from it. Your situation sounds like a more extreme version, though.

@mpd72
Habit.

Are habits bad...nah....Hmmm...

The trick is to 'medicate' without dependency and that is tricksy isn't it precious...yes it is my love.

John McGuiness has just gone cold turkey to kick his love of the pain killers...he'll have to do the same when the day comes to hang up the leathers. Adrenaline ..Dopamine loop.

Bubbs may be able to chill with a toke or a brew and take it or leave it but then again he may be masking a proper issue with his noggin.

Biologically smoking raises blood pressure. Ingestion of dope raises and then lowers blood pressure ...depends on who's medical papers you read.

Hey I'm not wanting to be preachy but thinking that adding new chemicals into your brain = chilled out isn't that straightforward.
What works for 1 doesn't for another.

Some folk be happy with a drink..others get gobby etc.

Now pass me the big papers and leave me alone. Smile

^^^It's bloody difficult for me to get what I want to say in a couple of lines ...cos like some things can not be condensed, at least when it's me drawing from my experiences.

You would be naive to think that taking what you think is a depressant results in relaxation.

Relaxation is within. A state of mind.

Alcohol is a depressant, but it depressess the inhibition centre of the brain first, closely followed by the part of the brain that manages complex decision making.
