Holiday insurance

Afternoon all, so as per title, any recommendations for holiday insurance on the bike , a quick internet search throws up a few bike tour specific policies for a single European trip around £20, I guess they all offer pretty much the same cover.

If you're taking your own bike most annual travel policies will respond fine. The issue comes when hiring - most won't cover anything over 125 regardless of your licence status.

Cheers arry, yeah the motorcycle policies seem to cover a lot of the stuff already covered on my european breakdown cover but with bigger exesses, but for the sake of an extra tenner better safe than stranded .....

for breakdown I use qdos, cost me under £40 for last year and includes repatriation cover for the bike and rider. just be careful regarding the repatriation and the value of the bike, if its not cost effective the bike wont be brought back
