Going to be selling up soon, buying a motorhome and having an adventure! Can get full time touring insurance for motorhome, £32000 mh, fully comp.£320! However, have not yet asked the question about the bike. We will be moving between 3 or 4 sites, and some secluded layby's, but will still be going to a single place of work.
Anyone done this? Are there policies available that cover this? Any recommended companies?

Cheers all!

must be possible as Motorhome Monthly Magazine had offers for VanVan 200's, that would hang off the back of autosleepers.

can't find a website for them

they got a twitter feed https://twitter.com/MMM_Magazine

Just to clarify, mh stays parked at site, bike takes me to work. Bike won't ever hang of back of mh as is currently 900 diversion. Soon to be replaced by St 1300. Bike and car will be left behind when we go on our travels

The problem then is honestly answering the question, "Where is the bike kept overnight? ". Don't want to give any reason for not paying out in the event of a claim.

Will be on multiple sites in different counties as more than 28 days in one place leaves you liable for council tax.

So phone up and change the address every few weeks. I doubt there's a set limit how many times they'll rape you over admin fees. After all, you "don't want to give any reason for not paying out in the event of a claim"
