Whilst in use I heard a kind of audible click and then nothing. Once I got past the confusion phase I started to mess. Literally, nothing except a confirmed supply into the PS despite realising my meter is out by 100V ( Laughing ).

Unplug the PS from everything and it turns out the damn thing is outputting everything correctly on a 24 pin plug, primary theory in smoke into no man's land. Suspect MB borked and not sure where to go, suggestions?

Edit- after testing the PSU and plugging it all back in, it fired up ok. Grabbed work meter, I think my old home one is a touch out now.

Twas very strange, completely dead, wouldn't even post. Possibly a part of the PSU failed but not found it yet, might just replace it now.

Does the fan work? Maybe it overheated. But then, don't modern PSUs have a thermal fuse? Thinking
