tl;dr summary - up versus 2017, but down versus 2016 ( https://www.mcia.co.uk/admin/images/uploaded_images/[statistics-news-and-press_178]Press%20Statistics%20201701%20Jan%2017.pdf )
Perhaps significantly for the long term future of bikey bruvhood, 125s haven't recovered from the January 2017 Europocalypse slump. Scooter sales are down on 2017.
Not many surprises in the category winners, but a (relative) stormer of a month for Honda, with more than double the sales of Yamaha, and the usual top 125s but also the top "supersport" in the CBR500RA, and the top 651-1000 on the NC750SA. S, not X, which is also surprising.
Thrill-a-minute stuff. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Is the Kwak Z900 available yet? I wonder if that's why Kawasakis figures are so low, people waiting for that. Outsold by Harley
The rest of their range is getting very Suzukiesque in it's blandness. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |
