Hi all,

I have just bought a Honda CBF125 (2014 plate), although not yet taken receipt of it.

My question to you all is this, has anyone considered moving the mirrors from the handlebars to the front fairing? A bit like Honda did with the Varadero 125 some years back when the moved them off the handlebars.

Does anyone know if it is possible in any way and what was required if you have actually done this already?

From a personal point of view I prefer bike mirrors in a fixed position on the bike, it just makes the handle bars look less cluttered and cleaner.

Thoughts and feedback welcome.

Dave

I like your thinking but it might be a bit costly becouse the mirrors should be attached to the bracket so you would need the front fairing bracket, front fairings, headlight and mirrors from another bike that has mirrors on farings such like CBR 125.
If you want to attach mirrors just to plastic fairings, this might cause farings to brake.
Would suggest upgrading to CBR 125 that is more enjoyable in my opinion.

If you're thinking of removing the usable bar mirrors from your Indian fluxbucket for "looks", then just man up and bin them for your art.

Unless you're not sure what your elbows look like, in which case fairing mirrors are a great way of finding out.

In a couple of years, you're going to look back on this -1 Abusive reply and realise that it's +1 Insightful.
