The engine temperature sensor that controls the on-off points for the cooling fan may be used.
I'm not familiar with bike FI. So you should Google the electrical schematic for you bike model and year. Any sensors will be shown there.
Or Google you bike model year and idle speed.
And combinations of that...
Do you need someone to Google it for you?

Only Honda's I seen do this have a mechanical "sensor" operating on water temperature Common fault on ST1300 and YamTDM900 etc denotes low coolant level ! ____________________ Dave
