When it's a regular non life threatening weekly call out? The old woman up our road has had one out on an almost weekly basis. As far as I know, she's still alive and never seems to leave the house for extra care. I really struggle to see how the extra 2-3ft away is the difference between life and death.

I quoted directly from an article from the local paper. Try Google, it's great for finding stuff like that.

Maybe we're all looking at this from the wrong angle? Maybe the shit parking is down to a woman paramedic driving? ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Can't believe you even have to work out which side of the fence to be on about this.
People who leave notes like that on Ambulances / Emergency vehicles are oxygen thieves /end of thread. |
Unless of course, it was your house burning down at the end of the street when attitude problem deliberately double parks, blocking the road at the top, where parking just a couple of feet further down would have kept the road open.
Other than that, yes, it shouldn’t be an issue. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

And what's the betting all 4 were reported by the same neighbours as in this incident and never by any other neighbours?
It seems the "victims" here have tried to get their neighbour removed from the entire street on more than one occasion, succeeded, then failed when a magistrate let he back because of her pets.
This looks like a neighbourly dispute which has got well out of hand. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Which excuses the verbal abuse of a paramedic crew going about their duties because....
You seem to have quite a chip on your shoulder about this, Can I assume that the Immigrant your wife ran away with is a paramedic who lives next door? |
You could stop ASSuming stuff based on the stalking fantasies of Captain Wifebeater, I suppose. I was only married for a couple of years in my early 30's, 15 years ago.
I just think there's far more to this story than the social media outrage over the note (which is what led to her arrest). The same note which "a" neighbour saw being put on the Ambulance windscreen, so ripped in half and posted back through he letterbox (in another article),
Quote: | "A neighbour saw it (the note) deposited by the defendant and posted it back through the defendant’s address with it torn in half. |
which begs the question of how the Paramedic actually saw it. Anyone want to guess that feuding neighbour provided a photo of it and let it spread around Facefart until she got arrested again, for the 4th time, due to the efforts of her feuding neighbour?
Quote: | Mr Heath said he and his wife are at their "wit's end" and have kept a log of incidents since Sharman became their neighbour in September 2016. |
It makes me wonder how much of this has been caused by the feud with the whining neighbours from hell, constantly on the phone to the police about the woman next door. This time he let her hang herself, but she's still living next door, so the feud will only get worse. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

In the unlikely event that ever happened - the emergency services would coordinate a shifting of vehicles because they aren't oxygen thieves.
Your argument is utterly invalid. |
Precious time whilst your little Tiddles is on fire in the upstairs bedroom.
Come on, lets be sensible here. In some situations dumping the Ambulance in the nearest or quickest place possible is a need for preserving life, even if it blocks the road.
On many occasions however, it's completely unnecessary. I've seen this first hand on several occasions, where parking an extra 2-3ft further away, would keep the road open whilst they performed their weekly attendance of the old woman up the cul-de-sac from us. (I'm serious here, as after 20 minutes, the people stuck in the close found the owner of the car and asked them if they could move it to free up the road. It only took 3ft to let vehicles through).
It actually looked deliberate as they could have parked directly outside the house they were attending, in front of the car they double parked against, instead of directly opposite the only parked car in a 30ft stretch of road. I'll try to remember to drop a photo up here next time.
I'm saying there are definitely the odd one or two paramedic drivers with an air of self importance and a "fuck you, I park where I like" attitude. Not that this has much to do with the story in the OP, this looks far more likely that a nasty feud between the two sets of neighbours, leads them to constantly report her to the police in an effort to get her moved, which clearly only gets her back up even further, until she has a go at an ambulance turning up for the neighbour with COPD (which incidentally is quite a common disorder). ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

I'm stuck between wondering whether you understand irony or whether you are actually subscribing to your own BS - whatever, it's an opinion and you're entitled to it. Just don't go sticking it on emergency services vehicles and i'm sure you'll avoid a court appearance / fine ____________________ Module 1 and 2 passed - October 2014. The Untouchables... free from criticism. Never, ever, ever, deliberately park like a twat for non emergencies, just because it makes them feel important.
I still think the problem could lie with letting women paramedics do the parking. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.
