Having driven literally hundreds of buses, I have to say that they are quite unusual in their chassis layout. With the
steering wheels literally feet behind the driver and forming a large (approx 8ft) front overhang, the idea behind the
latter being so you can pull in tight to the kerb with less room being needed to do so. Because of this overhang you
need to steer 'late', it's also customary to poke your front end out for a look before you commit and start to steer. Driver
was just poking his head out of the turning for a good look. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

Normal bus driver behavior, trying to force their way out, stopping half a centimeter from you. GoPro hero should have deleted that clip |
