Also the bit about how they won't bother taking off a cover(?) was interesting.

I am with James May: I, like any civilised person, am vehemently opposed to capital punishment and any other form of state-sponsored murder. Justice should not admit a public’s thirst for pure revenge. But that’s not what’s happening here. I have arrived at this conclusion not through knee-jerk reaction or impotent fury, but by a pure and unadulterated process of logic. [Bike thieves] have to be killed.

When you force a people to the bottom of society with no prospects for change, they tend to just help themselves to stuff.

When you feed people a narrative that the system's stacked against them so there's no point in bothering, then they help themselves to stuff.

I know that white working class people have it tough but to claim that they have been 'forced to the bottom of society' is a bit extreme.

Laughing Remind me when the mass West Indian immigration to the UK was again?

I guess seeing first hand the shits in primary school, become the shits in secondary school, becoming the shits who go around robbing people must have been a dream.

I also guess seeing my black friends who had parent(s) that gave a shit, who knuckled down in school, and went out and got jobs so they could buy nice things (rather than steal them) must have been my imagination as well.

But yeah do continue to perpetuate a narrative, that makes where I LIVE a more dangerous and unpleasant place Rolling Eyes

I've lived in London my whole life and went to a very diverse school. Around 50% white British and 50% Black/Asian. (Now only around 20% White British)

Although I consider myself very open minded I can assure you that Even from a very young age, years 7 to 10 pretty much all of the trouble makers, bullies, low achievers, dealers, man-dem etc were overwhelmingly black. We even had a couple of stabbings on the school premises.

Infact by the time I transitioned to sixth form which was in the same school, the demographics had changed considerably with students consisting mostly of whites and asian's.

We all listened to the same music, read the same books, were taught the same syllabus buy the same teachers yet seemed to have very different futures ahead of us at this early stage in our lives.

Although what you are saying has an element of truth. I think its really quite a dated and regressive way of seeing it.

Well of course they had to invent one, what real world example could they use instead? Thinking

Come on mate, you know us empire builders fucked it up for Africa. If we hadn't taken over their lands and made slaves of their cleverest people, they too would have been making Stradivarius violins instead of bongo drums.

I shall put a guilty face on and join the

I watched a programme with Colin Jackson where they said the slave trade was an accelerated natural selection process; only the fittest survived and it's part of the reason they're successful in sprinting etc..

I do see the irony *glances at Alanis*, *she's nodding*, with the description Mr Moped Phone Thief gave, of how the public are basically iSheep and he's the wolf.

Hey, when you exist in an environment of plenty like most of the African continent, there's no real incentive to innovate. You can fill all your basic needs with a sharp stick, the climate is temperate enough that you have no need to engineer particularly elaborate shelters, soil is fertile enough that farming requires no particularly advanced skills and most of the medicine can be made from crushed herbs.

Move the same people to the more extreme areas of the planet and suddenly you need to invent and innovate to survive. Then that's the base driver for the entire civilisation to develop.

That's my ten minute coffee break theory anyway.

As for motorcycle thieves, as a Londonist from what i've seen it seems to be an even split if they're black or white.

Is that the actual bike thieves or moped muggers? General bike thievery seems to be more of a split, and maybe smash and grab raids.

I can say almost all of the (regular) muggers I've encountered have been black, I believe they're committing most of the snatch robberies on 'peds'.

Then. Now, you can survive on the sweat of the wage slaves wrung out of us by the State.

Thriving, that's what needs innovative solutions, like doing freelance forcible tithing. Gots ta get paid.

We must kill them.
