I miss old pound notes.
I miss the old, more relaxed days at work.
I miss the old style cinemas in town rather than the sterile, overpriced warehouses we have now.
I miss the barely legible but nonetheless still fappable jizzmags I'd find in the hedge.

Onwards and upwards I suppose.

I miss:

A back that doesn't hurt.

A shoulder that doesn't hurt.

Knees that don't hurt.

TV that wasn't wall to wall 'celebrity' wannabes.

And being able to get in a couple of laps around the TT course before work. Sad

Maybe rose coloured specs but it seemed a lot more laid back then.

Maybe there was more racism. Maybe we did wolf whistle pretty girls.

I don't know, it certainly seemed more friendly than it is now.

Football violence excepted of course. Black Eye Hurt

I miss bikes being cool.

I miss sportsbikes being cool.

I miss my youth. I miss my innocence in relationships. I miss my RD350LC and my RGV250. I miss my last job.

However, I've got a good life at the moment, I like living where I live, with the bikes that I have and the lady I'm with. I like having money and being able to do what I like.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

And called Marathons rather than Snickers. When did that change? Oh, 1990.

Do you see?

DO YOU SEE?

True. There seemed to be a lot less problems when the major powers kept their allies in line.

I miss the friendships you have as kids, it feels like adults only ever want something, the whole idea of just having fun seems like a distant memory Neutral

I have a friend on facebook that was complaining about her normally 900g bag of mince only being 850g these days...... and blaming it on brexit Laughing

Now you know what to blame for the chocolate bars getting smaller over the years.

Places like The Ruskin Arms and The Green Gate/Oscars as they were back in the day.

The bunch of mates at High Beach - a good laugh, good banter.

Rides in Wales with a mate from the Fazer owner's forum.

I don't actually miss all the old bikes; I had my fill, and am quite happy with what I have now.

I miss pre-internet days though. Don't get me wrong, some things have been made easier, and I'm not a total gadget hater. But I dunno, it's just not really for me on the whole.
