Just this once, I agree with everything you just said. Just this once. Wink

Every so often I might get the urge to sit on top of a double-decker bus with a sniper rifle and just spray bullets and watch the resulting melee.

But not a physical bone-crunching eyeball poking fight.

I'd prefer to distance myself from my victims.
Don't want their blood and gore getting on me.

What he said Thumbs Up

Also, when I have to a) take public transport or b) go anywhere in East London.

A night bus to Bethnal Green on 31st Jan would see me going full Columbine.

Okay ... I don't remember ever having taken a night bus ...
(is that even the same thing?)

I've taken some late-night buses, sure, on the way home from some house of ill repute or another, but never one with an N on the front, so far as I can remember. Mostly I've had my own transport/got a lift/taxi.

... or maybe I was just ver' very' drunk Laughing and don't remember ...

Night bus party...although I called it the last bus and indeed we did have mini parties.
Sometimes the driver slammed on the anchors and asked us get off or sometimes they would share a swig/toke and very occasionally they would detour and drop somebody off at their door. Smile
Loved that 192 and 191...didn't love the fact that I then had a 7 mile walk to get to where I lived....got home almost sober.

Yes..hurrah for the last bus....and the last train gets an honorable mention. 11:30pm from Manchester....not nearly late enough...hence the last bus albeit with long walk.

I think there are more 24 hour bus routes now, and with the night tube also. Kids don't know how lucky they're not having to stagger for miles in the rain Rolling Eyes

My mate goes to work at 4am in London. He says the amount of drunken pond life around at that time is amazing. If he wanted to indulge in a bit of rape that's the time to do it with the amount of pissed up women in posh frocks making their way home who are prime targets Shocked

Muggers know it as well. That's one thing that pissed me off when the 24 hour licensing came in, you used to be 'safe' going home at 1-2 am as Dindu had gone home having had their fill, now they're basically at it all night Rolling Eyes

Hence the disproportionate popularity of 'mini cab driver' as an occupation in certain quarters... Thinking
Easy pickings.
