Hi guys, Just wondering if the Hive mind of old timer 2t fans on BCF could help me out with the actual mm sizes for the mikuni hex jets in sizes? I did the cheapo option and bought what was supposed to be sizes 200-300 for an old LC 125 carb from ebay Shocked Rolling Eyes they arrived but no stamp sizes on the jets and whiping out the old mito digital calipers showed me I had only 5 different sizes with multiples of 2 or 3 for a few of them. Anyhow long story short I got the refund but I dont know if these buggers are in the 200-250 range..the 250-300 range or anything in between! anyone know in MM what jet size is what for the old TM carbs??? They are measured for flow but nothing solid after an hour trawling the interwebz unless your talking HUGE sizes!

I've got a few jets in a packet in the 270-295 range but they are for a Mikuni TMX series carb. Not sure if that makes a difference? But all my jets are sized in numbers not mm AFAIK and I'm sure they have the size stamped on them too.

Is it the thread size or hex head size that your after, or the actual jet sizes?

The answer is to buy Mikuni jets from a Mikuni agent like Allen's or motocarb. the info you are looking for is out there , the Mikuni system is based on the Amal system of measurement unit,
Which is imperial
Normally main jets do not wear, the needles and the needle jets do.
