Because apparently some abbreviations are not allowed cos rayciss, even though in reality it's just a fecking abbreviation, but of the protected species.
In a thread about child sex grooming, the word "Pakistani" comes up so often, it would be far easier if we could abbreviate it without the usual morons pulling race cards.

The difference is that the term 'Brit', whilst also an abbreviation, isn't used with the intention of causing offence. Its like 'pub' for public house, or 'plane' for aeroplane. What you are trying to do is justify using a word that you know will cause offence.
Would you call all Chinese 'chinks' or all Hispanics 'spics' because they can call us 'Brits'?

The whole point is that an abbreviation is only racist if the victim card can be played, which Pakistanis do at every opportunity, but Brits are too guilt driven to even try.
Who in the UK exactly, decided an abbreviation should be labelled a racist slur? Millions of people all over the planet can use this abbreviation, including the US, but when a British person refers to a Pakistani, we're forbidden from using the same abbreviation the rest of the planet uses. It sums up the way this country is going.

'Spic' isn't technically an abbreviation of 'Hispanic' either, but it serves the same purpose, as does 'Chink'.
Your definition of what constitutes racism is an unusual one. Most people argue that for racism to take place, both intent and impact have to occur. Some people, our Government included, think that impact takes precidence over intent.
Therefore if you call somebody a 'Paki' you are demonstrating your detrimental view of them as a human-being which is clear intent, and this demonstration of intent is all the more likely to result in 'impact' upon your intended victim. I'm not sure that is the same as playing a victim card.
Not all abbreviations are racist slurs. The ones that are exist because the abbreviations have historically been used as derogatory terms.
