Bloke he's having a conversation with isn't the organiser of the conspiracy against Tommy and I doubt he's got any say or authority to help Mr Robinson.

He's reading from their standard script which was possibly designed to wind people up.

If you've got a past that's as checkered as Tommy's then trying to renew your passport just before you're needing to use it is asking for trouble.

Yeah it takes the piss that he's paid for the seven day express service and hasnt got that but he really should have managed to see this one coming. Laughing

Can you imagine if the government gave passports out to convicted fraudsters within a few hours. Now that would be a conspiracy I could dig my teeth into.

Convicted and released fraudsters who have no outstanding convictions or travel restrictions and are renewing a standard passport?
I don't think it would actually be an issue, but do ex-cons have significant passport delays as routine?
I suspect that there is a flag on his name and somewhere someone is looking into where he's going and what he's going to be doing. Or someone's fcking with him.

They're clearly just trying to piss him off and make him lose his pre- booked family holiday , whilst the kids are on half term, because the Guardian tell them to.

That is a leap...

I imagine it is because his previous, legitimate passport was in the name of Paul Harris. Unless he produced evidence to show that he had changed his name legally to whatever it is nowadays, then that would hold up a passport application. To quote Wiki:

Robinson's birth name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley. The name Tommy Robinson is a pseudonym taken from a prominent member of the "Men In Gear" (MIG) football hooligan crew, which follows Luton Town Football Club.[41] The nom de guerre successfully hid Robinson's identity as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and his criminal history, until the connection was uncovered in July 2010 by Searchlight magazine.[21][42]
Robinson has also used the names Andrew McMaster, Paul Harris,[12] Wayne King,[2][43] and Stephen Lennon.[12]

Are you 100% sure his current passport, the one still valid for 2 months, which he handed in to get renewed, is in this Paul Harris name?

I’m not convinced. There’s so much bile and hate pedalled about him, some of the bullshit is actually believed. The urban myths are now taken as hard fact, by those dying to find something to beat him with.

Adult passports last 10 years. His had 2 months to go, ergo it must have been issued 9 years and 10 months before the event. In 2012 he had a passport in the name of Paul Harris. Unless he holds multiple UK passports, the one he handed in was the Paul Harris one.

Unless I am mistaken it isn't possible to hold two UK passports at the same time in different names. It is possible to have a 'concurrent passport' (i.e. a second one) but to get one you have to provide evidence of your initial one including your name.

Dianne? Is that you?

2012 + 10 = 2019?

Do we have anything factual and unbiased to show this Paul Harris passport was actually his and real?

Simple maths:

2019 - 10 = 2009

He used a passport in the name of Paul Harris in 2012, i.e. within the 10 years preceding 2019. Not that tricky really, Matthew.

https://metro.co.uk/2018/08/01/tommy-robinson-change-name-real-name-stephen-yaxley-lennon-7786799/

Note the bit where in 2013 the Judge in a case stated that his legitimate passport was the one bearing the name 'Paul Harris'. That is the clue....

Yeah, it would be mad wouldn't it? Politicians would be allowed out of the country. Rolling Eyes

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:British_politicians_convicted_of_fraud

And that's just the ones who didn't have a chum who could make the accusations go away.

I specifically said "within a few hours" that you forgot to bold.

It's just that "deliberately ignored to further my twisted views" doesn't quite roll off the tongue as nicely.

It's irrelevant. Are you pretending that a well known MP would be pissed around like TR was, after paying for the £170 face to face, passport in a few hours service, just for being convicted of fraud in the past?

No. I am saying that they wouldn't be accusing the government of some conspiracy. I don't care if anyone gets pissed off there is some delay in getting a passport, no matter who they are.

It has been explained the likely reason for the delay in getting his passport and rather than accept what is clearly the most likely reason, you still think it is a conspiracy by the left who somehow have control of issuing passports. Laughing

That is a tad biased MDMA, even for you.....

Unless I have read it wrong, isn't this the Syrian youth suing YL for libel, because YL's involvement lead to a hate campaign and death threats against him from (presumably non-racist Laughing Laughing Laughing ) individuals? It has nothing to do with our democratic processes.

Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of what went on in the playground between kids, this lad and the others involved are being used as pawns by YL and a rather unpleasant and misguided lawyer. Massive virtue signalling on both sides at the expense of kids and their families, surely?

They all need to get a grip....

I think there's less of a conspiracy feel about this and it's more of a blatant money making opportunity for the family. As per the Express TR publicly admitted he got it wrong and retracted his statements. I guess his defence is going to be that he acted in good faith, albeit somewhat over passionately, naively and stupidly (there does seem to be a theme forming here).

Express excerpt:

He said: 'I have been completely had, how embarrassing man.

"I had a woman, and I'll show you our screenshots, messaging me all morning about what had happened to her son.

"It turns out some leftie is sitting somewhere absolutely mugging me completely off and laughing about it.

"So yeah, fake news central. It turns out the '13-year-old boy' who had been jumped by five Muslims wasn't her son."
