Watched it with my common cup of tea this morning. Adam Bolton is indeed a twat and came across as far too biased against YL. His job as an interviewer is to let people explain themselves so that the public can make its own mind up, instead what he did is reinforce the perception of some of the public that the media has got it in for Saint Tommy.

The point about the House of Lords is a valid one, and what AB should have done is asked whether the number and regularity of YL's convictions shouldn't be taken into consideration in response.

There was a discrepancy between what the UKIP bloke was saying and UKIP's stated view on the appointment of YL, as written in the text ribbon at the bottom of the screen. Does UKIP want YL, or is it distancing itself and the leader didn't know at the time of the interview?

Interesting that three counter protesters were arrested for public order, offensive weapons, and assaulting a police officer. Didn't see any mention of the brexit thugs being arrested.
I would not be surprised if the turnout for remain was higher, this protest was in London which is as far as I can tell overwhelmingly remain.

We all know that the media will play down any demonstration it doesn't like - god knows I went on plenty when I was younger that didn't make it into the press at all....

It doesn't alter the fact that the UKIP/YL dreamteam wanted this to be a big thing and it wasn't. I don't know anybody who went on either side.

There may well have been more yogurt weaved than actual protesting - we don't know and we probably never will. All we do know is that property wasn't damaged, cars weren't burned, barricades weren't erected and bricks weren't thrown. Had any of this happened, the media would have lapped it up...
