...the Met Police put 11 Toyota Mirais on the fleet.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.autoexpress.co.uk/toyota/mirai/102985/fleet-of-11-toyota-mirai-police-cars-to-enter-service-with-the-met%3famp

These vehicles cost £66,000 each!

Surely they would have been better putting that £726,000 towards the cost of tackling motorcycle theft!?

The Caliphs clean air scheme means the Met, fire and ambulance services will have to replace a lot of vehicles.

That's awful, It doesn't seem fair that the emergency services are hit with this. Not sure what the answer is though.

Get rid of the poison dwarf? It's his baby. M/Cs have precisely fkall chance of an exemption from ULEZ if the
emergency services have to renew their vehicles to comply, as far as I can tell it's just the (TFL controlled) Black Taxis that are exempt.
Which kind of makes a mockery of it all.

Tell Mayor Munchkin to do one. Who's going to enforce it?

You're talking as if the cars being fit for purpose as 'Police cars' has anything at all to do with why they were chosen.
