That's in the UK, coupled with the sometimes iffy support from WK. My hope would be that, the KTM distributors take them on, and, also bring in the rest of the range of bikes, although the only ones that I'm vaguely interested in is the 650MT, and, the not available over here, 650TR-G
The CF650TR has, so far, been a very good bike, for me at least. I would be very tempted if they brought over the CF650TR-G. ____________________ Beware what photos you upload, or link to on here, especially if you have family members on them |

Because that is where we are. That is what affects us and the buying of motorcycles.
As said numerous times, the Chinese selling model is build them cheap, flog them on with sod all PROPER dealer network.
Why would KTM dilute their brand name selling WK's. We know the Chinese can make good stuff when the quality control is in place, that isn't an argument but you won't get Yamaha selling Chinese branded bikes in their dealerships using their dealer services, why would KTM. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

I rather suspect from their current model lineup that it's about to become non-existent support from WK.

Why would KTM UK want or allow their dealers to sell equivalent bikes from a rival marque side by side with KTMs, for less money?

I've never had an issue with the bikes, had a sit-and-sniff of one and couldn't see anything wrong, and have on occasion been tempted to take a punt at their fire sale prices.
Then I recall that the resale value is essentially scrap even if it keeps running, and supply and support is... well, as you say, "iffy".
Nope. They're too disposable to be relied on, and too expensive to be disposable. The value proposition just doesn't work for me.
Which is a damn shame as I'd like to see them taking sales from the established marques and driving down prices, as the MT-07 did when it was released at nearly a grand cheaper than the equivalent Suzukis and Kawasakis. Despite all the bawwing about "there's no profit on new bikes" they somehow managed to cut their prices to match. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
