Momentarily lost the front on a dusty bend, grabbed front brake, went down. It's a classic. Sympathies, but I don't think worn steering head bearings were the cause.

Hey - in the screenshot you shared the brake leaver was not pulled, not even for a bit. Also, when the handlebar started moving the brake lever was not even covered, let alone braking

The brake lever was covered by two fingers for the entire sequence - look again. Otherwise, are you saying that when things started getting out of shape you simply covered the brake, whilst it was head-shaking?

Looking at the footage there appears to be a line along the road (just to the right of the centre line marking) which is difficult to make out in detail, but could be a crack or other surface imperfection that caught the front wheel. If the headset bearings were also loose this may have exacerbated things but I doubt they were the sole cause of the incident (unless very, properly mangled before the drop, which would be obvious in normal manoeuvring).

Two-Up too fast.

Suspension is not able to react to the road conditions.

Shit road surface.

In before poor road positioning and look where you want to go.

Glad you were both ok though fella. That could have easily ended in tragedy looking at that drop.

Clear panic when it got sketchy on the front as you are heading for a big drop, your instinct was to brake, we can all see that from here. The braking and target fixation of the big hole is probably your problem.
