Got my renewal through today from CN. Very pleased to note that the cost is £1 less than my first policy for the bike 4 years ago. The renewal has only varied by about £3 over the period, slightly up/down. Although I don't qualify for NCD (the bike is a classic) I am very happy with the service from CN.

I have no connection with CN other than as a satisfied customer, not related, etc etc, blah blah.

CN usual fuck the customer over after a year or two with a silly renewal, hence why I suggest if you need a classic policy you purchase it from somewhere else...

At least twice per year they call to check if I am happy with the service. Also good comms with regular magazines via my e-mail. Also when I took out the cover I received very good advice and I was talking to a person who understood my requirements and was also a biker. The few other companies which I was after getting cover with did not recognise my bike, even though I advised them it was a JDM and gave them the full frame number, including the magic MC07 prefix which identified it as an LA250 Custom. The name of the person who arranged the policy 4 years ago was Yvonne; although she told me that she runs a trike, she knew her stuff and we had a great chat about bikes and my experiences years ago.

More like Happy Continuation - policy cost has gone down not up. Also last year I was advised that there is now no excess charge under my policy.

There ya go peeps.. Next year I hope to gain a bit more by putting the car with them as well - this year the robbing gits put my car ins up by £160, and I called them after getting another quote from Compare the same price but with a loan car. So mine popped a loan car on. (we didnt need a loaner as up until 2 years ago as 'er indoors still had her own)
