WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!

Finally passed the mod 2 just today...

I didnt want to post about it before because i actually failed the first attempt D:

But yes I passed... But only just scrapped it... With 9 minors.

But a pass is a pass and this is a huge load off my shoulders.

Now those Minors. For the most part there was nothing too bad. A couple of bad lane positioning. but the majority was for things like hesitation and going too slow...

Its funny actually my first attempt I ended up with 1 minor and 2 serious faults. The minor was because my foot rested on the break a little and made the light come on... The serious ones were 2 things...

First yellow box junction and i was turning right, i misjudged a oncoming and slightly speeding car, and caused a carfuffle... So 1 serious for that... And the other was not doing a life saver on a roundabout while struggling to find my lane.

However that examiner did say I was a good skilled rider... I rode really well. Just messed up on those couple of bits.

So yeah, this time round. I got all my observations, but just this examiner likes people to go a little faster than I was going.

I was playing it safe i thought by doing 25 in a 30, 25 in a questionable 30 residential area... stuff like that....

Anyway thank fook for that.

Evil Hans your powers of deduction rival that of sherlock :p

Yep Er6f...

So looking over my pass sheet...

These 9 minors.

sure its a scraping pass... And yeah ideally I would have got less... But for the most part these minors arent bad... esp if you ignore the ones regarding speed and hesitation.

I was warned that the examiner I had really was some one who likes people to go fast. And I was taking it easy so... well yeah...

2 marks for appropriate speed 2 for undue hesitation 2 for approach speed.

Well theres 6 of the nine from an examiner who goes for that area....

I was taking it easy for a few reasons. It was a misty damp day yesterday. And I never ridden that bike in the wet. So I didnt want to push it. Im also under exam conditions where my nerves are flying. So sure im going to be extra cautious about things like speed...

At least 1 of the undue hesitations was unfair i feel... Because i was at a junction and sure there was a gap I could have taken but right behind that next car was a much better gap... So i waited for that gap...

I got one for turning right... I think i might have clipped a mini round about white marking...

1 for safety... This was the move away form behind a car. I did see a car coming from the other direction. But I also saw there was plenty of space for me to go... the examiner didnt agree.

Steering... I apparently wobbled a little when coming to a junction too slow....

But thats it. Thats the 9 marks... So really all in all while sure 9 minors. Theyre not that bad. And I didnt get any of these minors with the previous examiner. So I think i did ok...

Its certainly not worth retaking the test at 180 quid, just to get less minors :p

Yep, it's totally in the past now. I got a couple of minors on mine, and I can't even remember what they were for now.

Just get out and enjoy the ride!

And you're right to do so. This limit = target stuff is very ungood. Apparently DVSA Derek hasn't read the Highway Code. Tut Tut

Good choice on the ER6F. How slack a chain are you going for?
